Food Bank Looking for BackPack Partners

The Food Bank's BackPack Program is designed to meet the needs of food insecure children at times when other resources are not available, such as weekends and school vacations. The backpacks are filled with food that children take home from school on Friday afternoons to provide food for the weekend.

We are currently looking for school partners in our 11-parish service area to provide the BackPack program for their students. If your school is interested, please call the Food Bank at 318-445-2773, ext. 227.
