Members of the Pineville Youth Center Garden Group prepared a seven-layer dip and a fruit, granola and yogurt parfait for other members and guests on Valentines Day. The students named each of the ingredients and explained what food group the item belonged to. They then prepared the snack and served it to the others. The youth at the center then explained why they love gardening--"it's fun", "I like to watch the items grow", "its good food".
We had a wonderful time last year as we ran the roads of Historic Inglewood Farm. Why don't you join us this year and run with us!
