Garden Workshops
The Good Food Project offers a variety of educational resources for gardeners in our community.
The Good Food Project offers a variety of educational resources for school and community gardens in the eleven-parish region served by The Food Bank.
Throughout the year, Good Food Project will offer information through one-on-one phone chats, or by email, to Food Bank clients, our school and community garden partners, as well as the public. We have monthly cultural recommendation guides about what can be planted in Central Louisiana, year-round, that we share with Food Bank clients in their food boxes, with the public, by mail, email, or as it is posted in our monthly newsletter, Sprout. General garden tips are shared on our Facebook and Instagram pages and in the monthly newsletter.
For specific garden information, please call the Good Food Project at 318-445-2773, ext. 212 or contact us by email at goodfoodproject@fbcenla.org
Due to restrictions involving COVID-19, we are not currently asking for community volunteers on Workday Wednesdays or conducting onsite workshops.
